From branding and digital to experiential UX/UI, gaming UI, design systems, digital transformation and building and expanding design teams (Part of the leadership team who took the Tesco Digital design team from 5 to 160 people in 7 years)

My focus was on the loyalty space for Tesco both internationally (Thailand, Malaysia and Central Europe) and in the UK where my team and I took the Clubcard app from 1 to 5 stars on both platforms, with over 8m users.

More recently at Capital.com I reinstated design as a key function within the Product org. My teams were also responsible for successfully launching the new EMEA trading licence and improving/streamlining our relationship with the FCA.

Obsessive about Culture, as a creator and carrier, and a constant champion of Diversity and Inclusion.

I apply Design Thinking to complex business problems and understand what it takes to build, inspire, motivate and lead teams at scale.

I thrive on identifying genuine opportunities to simplify complexity, and deliver tangible results to the business.

I love travel, cycling, food/cooking and restoring old (70s/80s classic road) bikes, so to date I have completed 7 l’Eroica’s, a vintage cycling event which conveniently combines all of the above.

In my spare (travel) time over the last 10 years I restored a very remote off grid cottage in rural Alto Alentejo (Portugal) I recently sold it to re-invest in building a place in rural Istria. My partner Pam and her family have an olive grove there that we produce cold pressed extra virgin olive oil from. Istria is also great for riding vintage bikes, and cooking and eating too much… You see the pattern forming here?
